A narrow road from Beceite follows the Ulldemó river past a string of pools. Parking is limited in August, so we suggest going before ten.
Which pool
The first ones are the busiest. Walk ten minutes upstream from the last car park and you will usually find a pool to yourself, with flat rocks to dry off on and shade after midday.
What to bring
Take water shoes and something to eat, as there are no bars. We can prepare a picnic the night before. The water is cold even in August, which is rather the point.
Please take your rubbish home: the pools stay this clear because everyone does.
